Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our Merchandising product pillar. This leader will drive the development of features that empower enterprise customers and brands to optimize pricing, enhance product listings and content, and strategically manage advertising spend. You will play a pivotal role in integrating AI-driven insights-including seasonality and demand forecasting-across all merchandising levers to help our customers achieve goals such as maximizing sell-through rates, GMV, and profit margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the Merchandising product pillar, from ideation and strategy to execution and iteration.
- Define and deliver a comprehensive product roadmap focused on enterprise customer success through pricing intelligence, listing/content optimization, and advertising effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, design, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful merchandising solutions for brands and enterprise customers.
- Integrate AI and machine learning models to analyze seasonality, predict consumer demand, and inform strategies for pricing, content, and advertising.
- Build and optimize automated tools and dashboards that help customers set and adjust pricing, improve product listings (titles, descriptions, images), and allocate advertising spend based on real-time data and customer goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation in merchandising and enterprise enablement.
- Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the impact of merchandising features on customer success and marketplace competitiveness.
- Leverage customer feedback, data analytics, and experimentation (A/B testing) to optimize features and drive continuous improvement.
- Evangelize the Merchandising product pillar both internally and externally, driving adoption and educating enterprise customers on best practices.
- Ensure all merchandising features comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record in ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, or SaaS products for enterprise customers.
- Demonstrated experience building and launching product features that help brands and enterprise customers merchandise, price, and promote their products at scale.
- Deep understanding of pricing intelligence, listing/content optimization, advertising strategies, and consumer demand modeling.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategies and roadmaps in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with engineering, UX, and business teams.
- Experience with agile product development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dynamic pricing, revenue management, or pricing optimization tools.
- Familiarity with listing/content optimization and advertising solutions in online marketplaces.
- Expertise in guiding user experience development for merchandising features.
- Experience in both B2C and B2B ecommerce settings.
- Experience working with AI/ML solutions, particularly in demand forecasting, seasonality analysis, or automated decision-making.
The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000 - $180,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This is a Remote first position, but candidates may work from our Boise or Sandpoint Idaho offices if desired. Occasional travel to those office locations for team on-site meetings may be required, however this position will not feature regular travel.
