As a Data Scientist specializing in Pricing at Gierd Inc., you will be an integral part of our Pricing Team, focusing on building models to analyze the decay and seasonality of refurbished products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your data science skills to drive pricing strategies and decision-making processes within our dynamic organization.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement pricing models to optimize profitability and competitiveness in the market

- Analyze pricing trends and customer behavior to identify opportunities for revenue growth

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data for pricing strategies

- Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to forecast pricing trends

- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field

- Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, especially with practical applications around retail or ecommerce sales.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
