About The Role

We are seeking a curious and driven Full Stack Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team in Denver. This internship offers hands-on experience building and shipping features across the frontend and backend of Gesture's products, working directly alongside our engineering team on real, production-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across our web and internal tooling stack, front end to back end
• Write clean, tested code in collaboration with senior engineers
• Work with our API layer, databases, and front end frameworks to deliver end to end functionality
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack, from UI to database
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into working software
• Contribute to internal documentation and engineering best practices

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with a modern front end framework (React preferred) and a back end language (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases, and version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
• Prior coursework, personal projects, or internship experience in software development is a plus
