Job Type: 3-month Contract (Opportunity for extended contract or full-time employment based on performance and company need)

Time: 20-25 hours weekly

Location: Remote (USA only), preference for Milwaukee, Chicago, or Madison

Compensation Range: $65/hr to $75/hr, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager (Contractor) to own our paid search and paid social channels. This role is for someone who thrives in performance marketing, loves experimentation, and can manage both strategy and execution. You will be accountable for channel performance, budget allocation, content strategy and creation, and continuous optimization across the funnel.


This is a high-ownership role with real impact. You will work with our Director of Marketing to improve acquisition efficiency, strengthen conversion, and build a repeatable testing engine across channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own paid search and paid social strategy, execution, and performance
  • Manage channel budgets and funding allocation, including pacing, forecasting, and weekly spend management
  • Build and maintain a structured testing roadmap across audiences, messaging, creative, and offers
  • Integrate AI into campaign execution to accelerate creative and copy iteration, identify optimization opportunities faster, and streamline testing workflows
  • Optimize account structure, targeting, bidding, and campaign setup to improve efficiency and scale what works
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and iterate creative concepts that convert
  • Identify landing page friction and lead conversion rate optimization efforts through prioritized experiments
  • Maintain clear reporting and performance visibility, including weekly updates with learnings and next actions
  • Evaluate and recommend additional channels when there is a clear opportunity, including YouTube and TikTok


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated background & experience in owning paid search and paid social for an eCommerce or subscription brand
  • Previous experience managing ads on Google, Microsoft, Meta, Reddit, Vibe.co, Tapjoy, Quora, Amazon, and more
  • Strong track record of improving acquisition performance through testing and optimization
  • Strong history of operating independently across campaign build, analysis, and iteration
  • Experience using AI tools to improve speed, quality, or performance in paid media workflows
  • Deep understanding of creative testing systems and how to translate insights into better ads
  • Experience working in wellness, nutrition, supplements, telehealth, or adjacent healthcare & self-care categories is required
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, including translating performance into clear decisions and actions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-moving environment

Salary
