Position Title: IT Support Technician and Network Operations


Position Location: This is a full-time position held in our office location with the possibility of occasional remote work.


Growth Path: This position offers opportunities for advancement into Senior Support, System Administration, or System Engineering roles.

Requirements:


- Basic understanding of network technology concepts

- A+ and Net+ level skills preferred, but not required

- Proficiency in Windows environments, Mac and Linux knowledge a plus

- Understanding of routing and switching concepts

- Knowledge of IP addressing (version 4 & 6)

- Experience with monitoring applications is a plus

- Perform hardware and software repairs on Servers, Computers, and Laptops

- Familiarity with email hosted exchange, routing, and tracing

- Understanding of printers; diagnostics for wired, wireless, and networked printers


Responsibilities:


IT Technicians will be responsible for creating and tracking helpdesk and network support tickets from various clients. This includes identifying the client, documenting troubleshooting methods, and invoicing for work performed. Technicians must follow documented procedures for troubleshooting and utilize NOC resources effectively to address issues. Professional representation to clients and vendors through verbal and written communication is essential.


Additional Experience:


- Background in troubleshooting ISP Cable, DSL, or Fiber is a plus

- Experience with enterprise network configuration or support is beneficial

- Military experience is a plus


Work Location: On-site at our facility

Pay: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience

Schedule:

- 8-hour daily shift, Monday to Friday

- On-call availability for remote work

- Overtime may be required
