General Provision is a member-only club with our primary location in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. We’re a club for work (think coffee shop meets hotel lobby) that provides vibey workpsaces, events, and a full food and beverage program. We serve a community of founders and creatives that rely on our clubhouses for a great day of work while collaborating with others. This job pays $15–$20/hr + tips (commensurate with experience), and both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Description

Our in-house coffee bar (The Palm) serves local specialty coffee, matcha, and other functional foods to our members and guests for pickup at our service window. We are looking for a Barista who interested in crafting both functional and beautiful drinks to our customer base. 


Who We Are Looking For:

Our Barista must possess front of house presentation skills and specialty coffee knowledge so that they can run our coffee program while on shift. This person will be relied upon to open the space daily on morning shifts, tend to the Cafe, prepare and serve drinks with craft and excellence, and close the bar on closing shifts.

Above all, a warm-hearted and caring individual will go a long way in ensuring that our patrons feel well served with high quality hospitality.


Responsibilities: 


  • Fulfill Food and Beverage Orders Daily
  • Cleanliness of Cafe Area and Seating Areas of Facility
  • Charging for Orders for Point of Sale (Cashless System)
  • Opening and Closing responsibilities
  • Member experience and first impression with Guests
  • Inventory: Stock Check, Ordering, and Maintenance
  • Member Food and Bev Events: Support our community team to execute special events
  • Meet with Community Team to align on Seasonal needs
  • Contribute to new menu items seasonally


Requirements

  • Interest in Specialty Coffee and local food
  • Barista Experience with Specialty Coffee company
  • Friendly, Outgoing Personality
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs
  • Can stand on feet for up to 85% of day
  • Full-time Availability
  • Special Event Availability (Overtime) is a plus
  • Seeks excellence, always learning mind set
