Registered Vascular Technologist- Gauld Vein and Vascular

JOB SUMMARY:
Primary focus is in venous insufficiency, Deep Venous Testing (Iliac and Pelvic) and assisting in peripheral venous procedures. Collect data and provide documentation of test results for reading physicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews medical record, obtain history and perform physical exam pertinent to vascular disease.
• Performs duplex / Doppler exams per lab protocols.
• Assist/ support vascular surgeon in lower extremity vein procedures.
• Use of electronic medical record and notification to referring physician of significant abnormal findings.
• Provide final report data for reading physicians.
• Maintains appropriate care of all ultrasound equipment.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):

• Registered Vascular Technologist/Sonographer (RVT/RVS) Required
• Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) - Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
