GAST Clearwater is looking for a qualified, and experienced Vice President of Sales who as extensive experience within the Real Estate | Aquatics | Resort | Hotel industries. developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of Sales strategies are required to achieve your financial targets. VP of Sales duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.

At GAST Clearwater, starting salaries are expressed as base salaries for sales roles. However, additional target compensation and short-term incentives in the form of sales commission plans are also available for certain positions.

VP of Sales responsibilities are:

  • Exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Implementing and executing strategic plans
  • Building and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Communicating effectively among clients and higher managers
  • Creating reports on sales performance
  • Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Extensive experience with the management of CRM-based software like Salesforce or Hubspot.
  • Establish sales objectives through forecasting through a sales process
  • Develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans and reviewing sales performance
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust sales prices by monitoring costs, competitors, and supply and demand indicators.
  • Complete sales operation requirements by scheduling and assigning sales team members and following up on work results.
  • Maintained national sales staff through regular recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training.
  • Employ assistance from sales-focused freelancers or consultants to ensure quotas are consistently met.
  • Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for new and existing products.
  • Working with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services.
  • Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
  • Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.

VP of Sales requirements are:

  • BA/BSc in Marketing, Business, or related field / MA/Msc would be preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a VP of Sales, Director of Sales, or Sales Manager
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a senior (C-level) leadership role may be advantageous.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Pardot, Salesmate, Slack, MS365, MS Teams, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies, methods, and employee motivation techniques.
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to maximize sales
  • Ability to create and implement sales plans
  • Ability to meet sales goals by monitoring progress
  • Ability to analyze sales data
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop budgets and sales strategies
  • Aptitude for mentoring and coaching sales reps
