At GAST Clearwater, starting salaries are expressed as base salaries for sales roles. However, additional target compensation and short-term incentives in the form of sales commission plans are also available for certain positions.
Business Development Analyst responsibilities are:
- Developing strategies relating to customer satisfaction and growth
- Conducting research to fulfill customers’ needs and also to identify new markets
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
- Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
- Gather helpful information from customer and competitor data
- Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
- Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
- Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
- Track and report on the status of proposal components
- Conduct ongoing market research
- Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals
- Drive the end-to-end sales process
- Prepare and submit sales contracts
- Deep market analysis and competitor behavior analysis.
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Familiarity with the industry, including equipment, logistics, and supply chain management
- Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
- Proficiency in MS365, Salesforce, Salesmate, or other CRM-based software
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
- Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods
- Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand business
- Collaborate with sales and design team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
- Train junior salespeople to improve sales goals and meet expectations
- Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
Business Development Analyst Qualifications are:
- BA/BSc in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5yrs experience as a Business Development Analyst in the Real Estate | Aquatics | Hotels or Resort Industry
- Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs and machine learning.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of principles of marketing & sales
- Good customer service attitude
- Familiar with salesforce, MS Office, or other CRM-based software, including other analytic or Business Intelligence software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent at building rapport with customers
- Good organizational and time management skills
