Role of Data Analyst for the company

Description

Our company is looking for a Data Analyst to join our company. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and implementing analytical solutions within our firm. Candidates must have a strong command of technology as well as a passion for data analysis. This role requires someone who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and is able to meet strict deadlines and budget requirements. The ideal candidate will also be able to troubleshoot technical issues independently and communicate in both written and verbal form with colleagues, clients and management.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information
  • Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
  • Use data mining to extract information and identify patterns or trends
  • Blend data from multiple systems to prepare reports for upper management and dealerships
  • Publish monthly and ad-hoc reports for management team
  • Build reports and reconcile to system data
  • Perform statistical analysis of data; monitor data quality


Qualifications

  • 2 years of related experience in a reporting role
  • Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) with emphasis in: Information Technology, Mathematics, Management Information System (MIS), Statistics, or Business Administration
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage
  • Knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • Must have advanced Excel skills


The ideal candidate will also have experience with:

  • Database and SQL, preferred
  • Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx, a plus!
