This critical executive leadership role carries full P&L accountability for a dedicated division focused on developing, marketing, selling, delivering, and supporting bleeding-edge enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical and commercial expertise in artificial intelligence, cloud ecosystems, and strict federal/enterprise compliance structures. You will be responsible for defining the strategic direction and driving the execution of next-generation Managed Services and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business plans, seamlessly operating across the entire product lifecycle from initial market research to ongoing customer care.

Core Business Unit Domains & Technology Focus

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Gemini Enterprise AI Suite
  • Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Compliance
  • SaaS & Managed Services (MSP/MSSP) Business Models

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Governance & Business Planning

  • Own the end-to-end P&L, operational budget, resource allocation, and financial performance metrics for the business unit.
  • Architect, validate, and execute robust multi-year business plans tailored to SaaS products and complex Managed Services offerings.
  • Identify market shifts, whitespace opportunities, and competitive threats through rigorous market research to guide technical and commercial roadmaps.

2. Product Development & AI Innovation

  • Collaborate with the engineering, product management, and development teams to build secure, scalable solutions natively on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Incorporate artificial intelligence at the core of the product strategy to drive distinct competitive advantages and native AI functionalities for B2B/B2G clients.
  • Ensure all product development frameworks strictly align with CMMC requirements, establishing data security boundaries appropriate for federal and highly regulated enterprise environments.

3. Go-To-Market, Sales & Commercial Growth

  • Provide executive leadership to marketing and sales functions to design sophisticated B2B positioning, lead-generation models, and enterprise sales strategies.
  • Act as the primary executive sponsor for marquee accounts, strategic channels, and governmental or defense-industrial-base clients.
  • Structure pricing, packaging, and commercial terms for SaaS subscriptions and recurring managed service level agreements (SLAs).

4. Customer Support, Care & Retention

  • Oversee the Customer Care and Support divisions to implement high-touch customer success workflows that optimize Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Ensure post-sale technical support infrastructures are optimized to minimize churn and meet rigorous compliance and uptime demands.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience running a fast-growing software business unit, technical division, or standalone technology company, with at least 5 years of full P&L ownership.
  • AI Capability: Proven track record of launching or scaling commercial AI/Machine Learning products. Hands-on strategic familiarity with LLM orchestration and utilizing platforms like Gemini Enterprise to unlock business value.
  • Cloud Ecosystems: Deep functional and commercial understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architectures and cloud-native SaaS deployment.
  • Compliance Acumen: Foundational or direct knowledge of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) compliance frameworks, particularly in how they govern data segregation, cloud storage, and defense contractor requirements.
  • Business Model Mastery: Demonstrable success building complex financial models and go-to-market strategies spanning both high-margin SaaS platforms and recurring Managed Services contracts.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced technical degree is highly preferred.

Competencies & Leadership Attributes

  • Cross-Functional Mastery: Ability to seamlessly transition from technical architectural reviews to high-level marketing campaigns or sales negotiations.
  • Financial & Analytical Rigor: Data-driven decision-maker who parses complex market research and operational metrics into actionable strategy.
  • Talent Cultivation: Experienced in recruiting, inspiring, and retaining top-tier diverse talent across engineering, product, sales, and support disciplines.
  • High-Stakes Communication: Elite verbal and written skills necessary to align internal stakeholders and build instant credibility with enterprise clients.
