TCG Specialist

Position Summary

The TCG Specialist is responsible for creating an outstanding experience for trading card enthusiasts by providing knowledgeable customer service, maintaining accurate inventory, supporting events and tournaments, and helping grow the local TCG community. This role combines retail expertise with a passion for collectible card games and community engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

Buy, sell, and trade trading cards.

Assist customers in finding products and making recommendations.

Process trade-ins according to company guidelines.

Organize, stock, and merchandise TCG products.

Maintain showcases, binders, and display cases.

Verify card condition and authenticity.

Assist with inventory counts and restocking.

Price singles accurately using company procedures.

Keep the TCG area clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Support tournaments, leagues, and special events.

Answer questions about products, formats, and releases.

Build relationships with the local player community.

Qualifications

Passion for trading card games and collectibles.

Strong customer service skills.

Organized with excellent attention to detail.

Comfortable handling valuable collectibles.

Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Weekend and evening availability preferred.
