FX Construction LLC is a licensed Arizona general contractor and civil and utilities contractor (ROC 337291 KB-1, ROC 367881 A Engineering) based in Chandler, with crews working across the state: the Phoenix metro, Prescott, and Tucson. On the utility side we build the infrastructure that fiber networks, cities, and private owners run on: fiber microtrenching and conduit, vault and handhole installs, water and sewer mains, and electrical conduit and equipment setting. On the civil side we self-perform concrete, asphalt, grading and earthwork, structural, and block wall, along with the concrete cutting and surface restoration that comes with underground work. Much of our work is multi-month fiber and civil builds, so the schedule is steady and the crews stay together.

We are a small, owner-run company. The owner is on site every day, estimates the work, and knows every crew member by name. We run our own equipment, including a microtrencher, a Guzzler MT vacuum truck, a volumetric concrete mixer, hydrovac trailers, and core drills, so our people learn the full trade instead of one task. New hires start where their skills are and move up as they prove out: laborer to operator to foreman is a path people here have actually walked.

What sets us apart is how we work. We pothole before we cut, we restore surfaces to spec the same day where we can, and we leave a job site cleaner than we found it. Cities and fiber providers hire us back because we hit footage targets without the callbacks. Overview

Hands-on crew member on our fiber, underground utility, and civil jobs across Arizona. You'll pothole utilities, place conduit and fiber in microtrench and open trench, set handholes and vaults, seal and restore surfaces, and handle backfill, cleanup, and traffic control. Good fit for someone with a year or more of underground or concrete experience who wants steady work on multi-month fiber builds and room to move into an operator seat.

What you'll do

• Pothole and daylight existing utilities ahead of the trench crew
• Set flowerpot handholes and vaults at laterals and tie-ins
• Place conduit and fiber in microtrench and open trench
• Seal microtrench with mastic and restore the surface to spec
• Backfill, compact, clean up, and set traffic control around the work zone
• Log footage and photos in our field app at the end of each shift

What we're looking for

• General laborer: no experience required; show up on time, work hard in the heat, learn fast
• Skilled laborer: 1+ year on fiber, underground utility, or civil crews doing potholing, conduit, or restoration
• Able to lift 75 lb and work on your feet outdoors all day
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA 10, trench safety, or flagger card is a plus; we train the right people
• English or Spanish; bilingual is a plus
