FX Construction LLC is a licensed Arizona general contractor and civil and utilities contractor (ROC 337291 KB-1, ROC 367881 A Engineering) based in Chandler, with crews working across the state: the Phoenix metro, Prescott, and Tucson. On the utility side we build the infrastructure that fiber networks, cities, and private owners run on: fiber microtrenching and conduit, vault and handhole installs, water and sewer mains, and electrical conduit and equipment setting. On the civil side we self-perform concrete, asphalt, grading and earthwork, structural, and block wall, along with the concrete cutting and surface restoration that comes with underground work. Much of our work is multi-month fiber and civil builds, so the schedule is steady and the crews stay together.

We are a small, owner-run company. The owner is on site every day, estimates the work, and knows every crew member by name. We run our own equipment, including a microtrencher, a Guzzler MT vacuum truck, a volumetric concrete mixer, hydrovac trailers, and core drills, so our people learn the full trade instead of one task. New hires start where their skills are and move up as they prove out: laborer to operator to foreman is a path people here have actually walked.

What sets us apart is how we work. We pothole before we cut, we restore surfaces to spec the same day where we can, and we leave a job site cleaner than we found it. Cities and fiber providers hire us back because we hit footage targets without the callbacks. For our crews that means year-round work, straight-shooting management, and pay that rises with what you can do.

Overview

Class B CDL drivers who runs two trucks for our trench crews: the Guzzler MT vacuum truck that works in tandem with the microtrencher, pulling spoils as it cuts and keeping the trench clean, and the volumetric mixer for batching and placing flowable fill and concrete on restoration. You'll handle inspections, DOT logs, hauling spoils and material, and work alongside the crew when the truck is idle. Good fit for a driver who likes being part of the work, not just the haul.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate our Guzzler MT vacuum truck alongside the microtrencher: pull spoils as it cuts, keep the trench clean, and handle trench cleanout
• Drive and operate the volumetric concrete mixer: batch and place flowable fill and concrete for trench restoration
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, DOT logs, and basic truck upkeep
• Haul spoils to disposal and material to the job
• Work alongside the trench crew when the truck is idle
• Log loads, footage, and photos in our field app at the end of each shift

What we're looking for

• Class B CDL (Class A welcome) with a current DOT medical card and a clean driving record
• 1+ year driving vacuum trucks, mixers, or heavy construction trucks; Guzzler or volumetric mixer time moves you to the front of the line
• Comfortable working around live utilities and open trenches
• Able to lift 75 lb and work outdoors all day
• English or Spanish; bilingual is a plus
