Core responsibilities

● Establish QA plans, review standards, scorecards, and control routines.

● Lead sample reviews, secondary reviews, trend analysis, and corrective-action planning.

● Coordinate QA findings with operations leaders, training, program integrity, and reporting teams.

● Support audit readiness, record reviews, and compliance with evidence requests.

● Monitor SLA-related quality trends and identify patterns affecting timeliness or accuracy.

● Prepare monthly QA and compliance reporting for internal and State review.

 

Recommended minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Six or more years of administrative, quality, audit, compliance, or professional review experience, including leadership responsibility for a QA or control function.


Minimum years of experience criteria

● 6+ years total relevant experience

● 2+ years in QA, compliance, audit support, review leadership, or supervisory control work

● Direct regulated public program, Child Care Scholarship, Maryland public sector, or payment integrity/control environment experience strongly preferred.


Preferred qualifications

● Experience in public program operations, case review, provider payment review, or regulatory compliance environments.

● Experience designing review criteria, conducting root-cause analysis, and developing targeted training responses.

● Experience supporting audits and developing quality dashboards or trend summaries.

● Knowledge of federal and State regulations in a benefits or education environment.
