As a Fusion System Administrator (SA), you will apply your technical expertise to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize mission-critical IT environments.


What You'll Do

As a Fusion System Administrator, you will support the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems while helping users securely and effectively access the technology required to accomplish their mission.

Key responsibilities may include:


  • Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Managing the daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Assisting users with accessing and using IT systems.
  • Supporting day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
  • Providing Tier 1 Help Desk and Tier 2 escalation support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Escalating issues and communicating system status to Government management and internal customers.
  • Optimizing system operations and resource utilization.
  • Performing system capacity analysis and planning.


What You'll Bring

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a current TS/SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field and a minimum of five (5) years of system administration experience are required. In lieu of a degree, ten (10) years of relevant experience may qualify you for the position.

The position also requires at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in system security authorizations, architecture development and design, risk assessments, and Information Assurance (IA) metrics gathering.

The original announcement identifies a DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (Security+) as helpful. I would retain that requirement only after confirming that this remains the appropriate certification language for the position.
