As a Fusion Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), you will play a key role in protecting mission-critical information systems supporting the Federal Government and U.S. National Security. You will work closely with system owners, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and Government stakeholders to implement security requirements, support authorization and continuous monitoring activities, assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks, and maintain system compliance throughout the system life cycle. As a Fusion Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), you will directly support the nation’s Intelligence Community and work alongside mission-focused professionals committed to protecting critical information systems.
What You'll Do
As a Fusion ISSO, you will support the Government on technical and non-technical matters involving information system security. You will assist in developing system security policies, ensure routine compliance with those policies, manage security aspects of assigned information systems, and perform day-to-day security operations.
You will apply your system security expertise to security authorization processes and procedures, current security tools, communication protocols and encryption techniques, and hardware and software security implementations.

What You'll Bring
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a current TS/SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph and a minimum of eight (8) years of security engineering experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT Engineering is required, along with certification at DoD 8570 IAM Level I as identified in the position requirements. An additional four (4) years of cybersecurity-related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
