The Customer Service Specialist is a dual position, being responsible for answering phone calls professionally and appropriately, scheduling all services, checking in and checking out guests as well as accepting payments for services.
Fur Baby is a high end, pet resort that offers doggie daycare, overnight boarding for cats and dogs, grooming and Retail that is looking to add professional, positive and creative individuals to its team! The Customer Service Specialist is a dual position, being responsible for answering phone calls professionally and appropriately, scheduling all services, checking in and checking out guests as well as accepting payments for services. They are also responsible for the retail pet grocery, including all aspects of running a sales floor (solution selling, customer services issues, stocking, etc). Our Specialist is also expected to learn about or have a current knowledge on dog breeds, life stages, behaviors, health as well as diets, foods and nutrition.
Our Concierge should have a basic knowledge of all of our services as to help determine scheduling and answer customer inquiries.
Someone who would thrive in this position would be a master multi-tasker, who can handle multiple projects as well as customers at the same time. Someone who is successful under pressure and can keep a calm and professional demeanor even in stressful situations. You must be comfortable in a loud environment, and with dogs and cats drooling, shedding, jumping and just generally being animals! You must also, above all, have a sincere love for animals in any form or size.
