FrogLegs is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Culinary Cooking Instructor to join our Kirkland team this Winter! This is a full-time position with Sunday availability required, with opportunities to support our Redmond programs as needed. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, enjoys cooking and baking, and thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment. You’ll lead engaging hands-on culinary classes and events while creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for every child. Culinary Lead Instructor 

FrogLegs is the hoppiest place on earth for hands-on culinary fun! From cooking and baking classes to birthday parties, special events, camps, and more, we create joyful, engaging culinary experiences where kids can learn, create, and have a whole lot of fun in the kitchen.

 

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Culinary Lead Instructor to join our team this December 2026 (possibly earlier or later, depending on availability). This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, feels confident leading a group, and brings warmth, energy, and a little culinary magic to every class.

 

Sunday availability is required for this position, with the opportunity for additional hours for instructors who are also available to work on Saturdays. Weekend programming may include cooking and baking classes, birthday parties, special events, and other FrogLegs experiences.

 

Our ideal instructor is comfortable taking the lead, keeping kids engaged, managing the flow of a busy kitchen, and creating an environment that is organized, welcoming, and FUN. If you enjoy cooking, connecting with kids, and making each experience feel special, we’d love to meet you!

 

Schedule:

Sunday through Thursday

  • Weekend Hours: Usually 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (might shift, depending on availability)
  • Weekday Hours: Usually 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (might shift depending on availability and special events) 

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and assist with hands-on cooking and baking activities for children
  • Create a fun, welcoming, and energetic camp environment
  • Confidently manage a classroom of campers with varying ages and abilities
  • Ensure a safe and organized kitchen at all times
  • Support multiple locations as needed, bringing consistency and enthusiasm wherever you go

Based on experience, interests, and willingness to learn, additional responsibilities may include social media and content creation, photography, marketing, inventory management and ordering, recipe development and testing, menu planning, special event support, staff training, outreach, and other operational or creative projects.

Salary
