Job Summary: The role of the rental shop manager is to lead sales, staff, rental and repair shop daily operations, and fleet maintenance functions of the store to attain maximum profitability, efficiency, and outstanding guest experience! Applicants should possess a high aptitude for Supervising and Managing a fast-paced, challenging Equipment Rental Business, while adhering to Guest Experience Standards, Staff Management Guidelines and Budgetary responsibilities. Applicants should be confident in working with Guest’s to resolve difficult sales and service situations while functioning as a representative of the Bousquet Mountain Leadership Team. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, have a strong knowledge of POS systems and experience in the ski industry is preferred.
Seasonal position with year-round potential for the right candidate.
Essential Functions:
NOTE: All Bousquet Mountain employees are required to perform alternate functions, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends.
Customer Service Expectations: This position involves constant, direct customer contact: answering questions, selling products, determining the proper size for equipment, explaining the process of putting the equipment on, etc. Employee is expected to be courteous and professional in accordance with Bousquet’s commitment to providing superior customer service.

Work Environment: Work is performed primarily indoors but may include limited outdoor tasks such as moving ski racks and shoveling snow. Noise levels can be high, and space crowded during busy times. Potential hazards include tuning equipment (edger, grinder, waxer, etc.) with moving belts and sharp components, potentially harmful fumes or chemicals from tuning and cleaning processes, and equipment stored on racks and shelves that could fall. Must use provided personal protective equipment when tuning.
