A Bousquet Ski area lift attendant plays a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of ski lift systems. They are responsible for assisting guests as they load and unload from the chairlifts and carpet lifts. Lift attendants ensure that lift operations adhere to safety standards while providing friendly and helpful guest service. This position requires alertness, physical stamina, and excellent communication skills, as it often involves working outdoors in harsh winter conditions.

NOTE: All Bousquet Mountain employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends.

Work Environment Considerations
Ski area lift attendants primarily work outdoors in alpine environments, often exposed to extreme cold, wind, snow, and sun. The work is physically demanding and requires proper winter clothing and gear, which may be provided by the employer. Shifts may start early in the morning and extend into the evening, including weekends and holidays, aligning with peak operating hours of the ski resort.
Employment Status
The holder of this position is considered to be a seasonal, part-time employee and will not be eligible for Company benefits other than those which are required by law. Other benefits such as those outlined in the employee handbook will be provided. This position at Bousquet Mountain will be consistent with the concept of employment At Will in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which means there is no guarantee of employment, and both the employer and employee can terminate the employment relationship at any time with or without reason and with or without notice.
