About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Denton, Texas. This on-site role is essential to the smooth operation of our finance department, supporting everything from daily treasury reporting to month-end close and audits. What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and maintain daily treasury reports to monitor company cash flow.
• Enter general ledger transactions and support ongoing ledger maintenance in NetSuite.
• Reconcile month-end balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Deposit customer checks and maintain accurate cash receipt records.
• Manage corporate payables and ensure timely processing of vendor payments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist in the filing of regulatory reports and preparation for internal and external audits.
• Provide support on various ad-hoc projects within the finance team.

What We Look For:

• 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (not required).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software.
• Ability to identify errors and use problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Must be local to the Denton, Texas area and able to work on-site most of the time.
