The opportunity

We are looking for those with one to two years of sales experience who can work onsite at our brand new Knoxville office. Position starts in August to September 2026. Come join our rapidly growing team! 


What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and other transportation customers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through contract negotiation and account onboarding.
  • Respond to client escalations to solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination.
  • Handle client issues that require advanced industry knowledge.
  • Develop customized freight and logistics solutions based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure successful service execution.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates within HubSpot. 
  • Step in to fill gaps in the process or implement improved processes as needed.


What We Look For: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in freight, logistics, transportation, or supply chain services.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in freight brokerage, third-party logistics (3PL), or transportation sales.
  • Knowledge of truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and other freight solutions.
  • Existing network of shipper contacts or logistics industry relationships.
