Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. You will be responsible for various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality support to healthcare providers and patients during in-office or virtual visits.

- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering basic treatments as permitted by state law.

- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

- Utilize our digital health app to document patient interactions, manage records, and facilitate communication between patients and providers.

- Educate patients on how to effectively use the digital health platform for scheduling, communication, and accessing health records.

- Manage prior authorization process

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a medical assistant program

- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or equivalent) is preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures

- Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus but new graduates are welcome to apply and will receive training

- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, and prioritizing patient satisfaction

- Strong proficiency or inclination to use technology, including mobile applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Salary Range

$18 to $22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
