Four Lions Media (FLM) is looking to hire a new Content Producer. This role will be responsible for producing and posting content and supporting internal systems that keep our content pipeline moving.
At Four Lions, we believe the media landscape is changing - and we must be helping our clients produce content in an ever-evolving media consumption landscape. Ideally, the Content Producer is a content maven who stays plugged into platform trends and knows how to craft effective content in today’s dispersed media market. You will have administrative responsibilities, too, but getting content up and running for the team is your path to success.

Responsibilities for this role will include
Daily content production
- Serve as the first-draft writer and post daily content across platforms, including SMS, email, social media posts, blog posts, simple graphics, and light video editing.
- Stay plugged in to political, advocacy, and labor-related news and trends across progressive politics and social platforms, including trending templates, sounds, memes, and emerging formats.
- Research issues relevant to FLM clients to identify salient topics, hooks, and storylines for content and simple graphics
Quality control and collaboration
- Keep content calendars up to date across workstreams so the team has a clear view of what’s in production, what’s scheduled, and what needs approval.
- Proof peers’ content, checking for accuracy, clarity, client voice, links, basic compliance, and formatting.
- Coordinate with colleagues to incorporate feedback quickly and keep work moving across multiple clients.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration while working asynchronously, including proactive updates and clear handoffs.
- Attend client meetings as invited, take notes, and track follow-ups and next steps.
- Support administrative production needs, including asset organization, version control, naming conventions, and process upkeep.
Core technical skills and Administrative
- Learn and use a scheduling platform to ensure on-time and accurate posting
- Learn and use basic technical skills across platforms and systems as needed: basic HTML/CSS, basic CRM and platform workflows, and the basics of testing and iteration.
- Learn reporting and contribute to reporting with supervision, including keeping reports up to date and flagging insights.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Experience producing digital content in a fast-paced environment, or an equivalent portfolio (This can include your own platform).
- Strong writing chops with the ability to draft quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working asynchronously with clear updates and handoffs.
- Deep familiarity with major social media platforms and what performs, including trend fluency and format awareness.
- Detail-oriented and strong editorial judgment, proofing, QA, version control, and approvals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe basics (Premiere, Photoshop), captioning workflows,
- Familiarity with reporting dashboards, or prior fundraising content experience a plus.
- Candidate will need to be able to be in the office 2-3 times a week.
