The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to join an established, physician-led practice with consistent demand across:
- Outpatient psychiatry
- Interventional psychiatry (TMS and Spravato)
- Organ transplant psychiatry
- Brain injury psychiatry
You will practice in a tech-enabled environment designed to minimize administrative burden and maximize clinical efficiency, with strong clinical, administrative, and operational support.
Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient Psychiatry
- Psychiatric evaluations and medication management for moderate to high-acuity mood and anxiety disorders
- Collaboration with APPs, therapists, and referring providers to ensure coordinated care
Interventional Psychiatry (Training Available)
- Oversee and administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) treatments
- Participate in treatment planning for patients with treatment-resistant depression
Organ Transplant & Brain Injury Psychiatry
- Provide consultation-liaison services to organ transplant teams (liver, kidney, heart, and lung) at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital
- Evaluate and manage patients with complex psychiatric needs in the context of medical illness and transplantation
- Provide psychiatric care for brain injury patients in collaboration with teams at Shepherd Center
APP Supervision & Clinical Leadership
- Directly supervise several Psychiatric PAs and NPs within the practice
- Provide ongoing mentorship, clinical guidance, and case review to APP team members
- Support onboarding and training of new APP clinicians
- Monitor quality of care, documentation standards, and clinical workflows in collaboration with practice leadership
- Foster a collaborative, team-based clinical culture focused on excellence and patient outcomes
Teaching & Mentorship
- Opportunities to teach and mentor PA and NP students rotating through the practice on a recurring basis
- Participate in development of a strong educational and training environment within the practice

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Georgia Medical License and DEA
- Interest in interventional psychiatry (TMS/Spravato experience preferred but not required)
- Strong clinical judgment with comfort managing higher-acuity outpatient populations
- Interest in leadership, supervision, and collaborative multidisciplinary care
