As the Clinical Director at Forward Wellness, you will oversee the clinical team, provide supervision to clinicians, ensure adherence to policies, and foster a positive work culture. You will be responsible for maintaining client hours, scheduling billable sessions, offering support to supervisees, and providing crisis support aligned with company procedures. You must hold an active license in Pennsylvania and have at least five years of post-master's degree experience. Additional experience in supporting diverse individuals and families, working with insurance companies, and private practice settings is beneficial.

What You’ll Do

As the Clinical Director, you will assume the pivotal role of overseeing and cultivating the clinical team at Forward Wellness within its designated location. Your responsibilities encompass providing clinical supervision or consultation to clinicians on-site, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and fostering a conducive work culture. Your role demands a positive and supportive approach towards Forward Wellness, its employees, and its clientele.


  • 48 billable sessions per month
  • Responsible for the clinical care provided by clinicians within FW through ongoing training, support, and supervision.
  • Responsible for case compliance for all clinicians through auditing and staying on top of regulations.
  • Monitor clinician retention rates, communicate trends to supervisees, and address issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Employee and Culture Manager and CEO to hold clinicians accountable through coaching, PIPs, or recommendations for termination.
  • Responsible for business outreach and community relationship building in a relationship.

Who You Are

  • Must possess an active License in Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, LMFT)
  • Must be eligible to supervise clinicians for licensure (five years experience post-master degree)
  • Must be interested and passionate about supporting all types of families
  • Must have initiative and be collaborative with their work - this includes other clinicians at Forward Wellness and providers in the community

  • Supporting transgender and gender-exploring individuals
  • Working with couples and families
  • Supporting families and individuals navigating reproductive mental health needs

  • Candidates with experience in private practice settings
  • Candidates should have a personal practice of disrupting societal oppression and anti-discrimination
