Forte is looking for a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Forte PM, you’ll work alongside the Forte team, but will spend most of your time embedded with the client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software startups and a strong understanding of project management methodologies. Knowledge of the equestrian industry is also a plus.

  • Meet your coworkers and learn about our workflow.

  • Get an introduction to the clients and the projects you’ll be managing for them

Once you’ve got the hang of that, you’ll...

  • Take on and manage a couple of projects
  • Build project roadmaps that identify project milestones and help keep projects on track.
  • Help clients identify KPIs, build systems for measuring and reporting on those KPIs, and propose operational improvements to help hit targets.

Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a software development or startup environment
  • Experience taking ideas and turning them into actionable steps
  • Ability to look at things creatively and from multiple perspectives
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong time management skills and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Entrepreneurial or small business executive experience
  • Operations manager or director experience
  • Multidisciplinary experience (finance, accounting, operations, HR, IT, marketing, sales)
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or similar experience
  • Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • MBA

Compensation

  • $65k-$85k annually, depending on experience

Here’s what to expect:

  1. You apply at the link below.
  2. If your resume looks like a good fit, you’ll get a call from Emily over in HR. She’ll ask some follow up questions about your work experience and your goals for the future.
  3. Next you’ll meet with the hiring manager and one or two other members of the team (this is usually done via Zoom). Together you’ll go over your work history, and discuss in detail what you bring to the table.
  4. You may be asked to meet with us for a third, more focused interview, or we may skip straight to an offer – it just depends on the number of candidates we have and how things are going.
  5. Once you accept an offer, you’ll put in your notice at your current employer, and Emily will reach out to set up your orientation and get you on-boarded.
  6. Before you know it, your first day will be here! You’ll meet the team, get a tour of the office, and get started learning the ropes.


Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per year
