Job Overview:
As a Construction Project Manager at JFB Construction, LLC, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects. You will serve as the primary contact and company representative for our clients, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a team of construction professionals and make a significant impact in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all project activities from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with client and company requirements.
- Communicate project responsibilities to team members, providing clear direction and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the construction team to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage project administration, including procurement, contracts, and documentation.
- Monitor project performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and addressing any feedback or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, regulations, and codes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in both commercial tenant-improvement jobs as well as ground-up construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Procore or other project management software and tools.
- In-depth understanding of construction industry regulations and codes.
- Valid driver's license.
