Junior Associate – Clinical Data & Informatics

Forest Pond Associates is a small, agile consulting firm serving clients in life sciences, government, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors, delivering innovative and data-informed solutions that support clinical research and public health.

Position Summary

We are seeking a flexible, motivated Junior Associate to support our clinical data and informatics work across a range of projects. In this role you’ll work collaboratively in a dynamic consulting environment where priorities can shift quickly, and you’ll gain exposure to diverse solutions for government and life sciences customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with clinical data operations and informatics activities supporting government and industry clients.
  • Support configuration, testing, and maintenance of systems such as Electronic Data Capture (EDC), eSource, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Perform data quality checks, documentation, user support, and basic system administration.
  • Contribute to project documentation, SOPs, training materials, and client deliverables.
  • Adapt to changing project priorities and contribute to team problem-solving in a fast-paced consulting setting.
  • Provide administrative support for project execution, tracking, and reporting.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Some exposure to clinical data systems, health informatics, or related technical tools (EDC, eSource, QMS etc).
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and applying them to real-world client needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Formal degree in scientific area (i.e. BS or MS)

Work Arrangement

  • Remote, with a preference for candidates located in Pennsylvania (especially outside major metropolitan areas).
  • Contract (1099) with the potential to convert to a full-time W2 role offering a robust benefits package.

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate depending on experience and scope of responsibilities.

Salary

$30 - $60 per hour
