We are a licensed fully outdoor nature based school with campuses in Issaquah and Bellevue WA. We serve ages two to seven and teach through play-based curriculum with an emphasis on outdoor education. We have a very tight knit community and are seeking to hire candidates that can foster respectful and loving relationships with families and team members. We love helping our teaching team grow in their roles through on-site professional development trainings, education reimbursement and providing administrative support to prevent burnout.

Hello Teachers!

We are a small outdoor preschool on a Farm in Issaquah. We are looking to hire a lead teacher starting in June 2026, but can offer assistant teacher work leading up to it.

We are hoping for a teacher that is confident in the following;

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children

- Be a really engaging presence and pull students into organic learning opportunities

- Teach literacy skills, including reading, writing, and language development

- Be a positive and enthusiastic part of our team! We really value the community we have built and hope to continue to have people joining us that are equally as interested in this piece of our job.

- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions

- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and educational progress of each child

- Implement early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays

- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment

We need our teachers to have the following;

- Bachelor's degree

- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children

- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Someone who is prepared, proactive and communicative

- Proficiency in behavior management techniques

- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students

- Is able to be outside in all weather 4-8 hours a day.
