Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's metal building business.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, detailing, and project management teams to prepare accurate proposals.
• Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM records.
• Work closely with operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the metal building, structural steel, or commercial construction industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems and construction processes.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Experience selling pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB).
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection.
• Established relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and industrial clients.
• Experience with estimating software and project bidding.

Compensation

·       Base salary 50-70K

·      Commission 1-3%
