Core Responsibilities:
- Create and edit video content for a variety of platforms, with attention to pacing, subtitles, and platform formatting.
- Write captions, scripts, and post copy tailored to specific audiences and platforms.
- Research trends across different communities and bring timely content ideas to the team.
- Draft and develop content from concept to final review.
- Support content scheduling, asset organization, and pipeline management.
- Stay organized and manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Video shooting experience is a plus but not required
- Create a portfolio of content that resonates with a range of audiences, including communities new to Food Forward.
- Contribute to the growth of our following.
- Polished captions, scripts, and video edits with minimal revision needed.
- Faster turnaround times and the ability to work independently with raw materials.
- Proactive identification of what a piece of content needs, along with a proposed solution.
- Growth in reach and engagement quality, including shares, saves, comments, and new audience connections.
Minimum Requirements:
- Awareness of how content lands differently across communities, with the ability to adjust voice, tone, and framing accordingly.
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Adobe Suite, AI Tools, and similar.
- 10-15 hours per week

- Clever, confident writing with the ability to adapt style for different platforms and audiences.
- A proactive, ideas-first approach: someone who brings suggestions rather than waiting for direction.
- Ability to follow brand style guidelines and ensure content stays on brand.
- Ability to receive feedback from multiple team members and turn it into clear, revised drafts.
- A portfolio is required for consideration - candidates should include LINKS for review.
