Job Summary

Focus Freight LLC is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to transport construction materials to and from commercial, industrial, and residential job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating dump trucks, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to designated job sites.
• Haul construction materials including rock, stone, dirt, sand, gravel, asphalt, wet batch concrete, concrete, and demolition debris.
• Perform commercial, industrial, and residential hauling services.
• Deliver and remove earthwork and excavation materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, contractors, and customers regarding delivery schedules and job site conditions.
• Operate equipment safely while loading, unloading, and dumping materials.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean and properly maintained.
• Demonstrate professionalism and provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of dump truck driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to safely operate dump trucks in various weather and terrain conditions.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and vehicle inspections.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and DOT physical (if applicable).

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A or Class B, as required)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, as needed
