Floral Express is a flower and plant specialty wholesaler serving cruise ships around the world.

THE ROLE

As a Driver at Floral Express, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for reliability and service excellence.

This is a temporary position for 6 months with potential for permanent hire. No experience necessary, clean and responsible driving record required. Students welcome to apply. FT and PT roles available.

SCHEDULE

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Works well around a college class schedule.

Deliveries from our Doral warehouse to the Miami, Fort Lauderdale and (occasionally) Orlando areas. No overnight trips.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Drive delivery vans and a box truck (no CDL or manual transmission required).

2. Deliver product to locations in South and Central Florida (up to 5 hours away), no overnights.

3. Pick up product at supplier locations.

4. Other driving related to the job.

5. Warehouse work: cleaning, sweeping, trash disposal, making cardboard boxes, sorting and picking supply orders.

6. Open to new duties and responsibilities that come with the job.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Authorized to work in the United States.

2. Valid driver license and a clean driving record.

3. Able to qualify for a TSA TWIC card for entry to the ports. TSA runs a criminal background check; disqualifying offenses are listed at https://www.tsa.gov/disqualifying-offenses-factors

4. Available every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for the full season.

5. Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

6. Responsible and reliable.
