Data-driven Inventory and Demand Planning Analyst

Do you find it difficult to delegate because who can do the job better than you can?


We’re looking for a data-driven Inventory and Demand Planning Analyst to help us maintain optimal stock levels and forecast demand across our multi-channel business. This role is essential to ensuring product availability, supporting launches and promos, and minimizing inventory costs in a fast-paced growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine demand forecasts across SKUs and sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) using historical data, trends, and marketing insights
  • Partner with marketing, operations, and fulfillment teams to align inventory with promotions, new product launches, and seasonality
  • Monitor and analyze inventory health, including turns, aging, and stockouts
  • Recommend purchasing strategies to ensure inventory meets demand without overstocking
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and support liquidation planning
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate forecast accuracy, sell-through rates, and inventory KPIs
  • Support cross-border fulfillment and freight operations by managing inventory allocations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in inventory or demand planning, preferably in a DTC or e-commerce environment
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and familiarity with forecasting and BI tools
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt quickly to shifting demand

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Shopify, Inventory Planner, NetSuite, or similar DTC systems
  • Prior experience supporting product launches, flash sales, or influencer campaigns
  • Understanding of 3PL operations & freight timelines
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior trends and how they impact DTC inventory planning
