Description

The Wash Floor Operator (Processing Associate) is responsible for operating commercial laundry equipment to wash and dry inventory from service routes. Machine loading/unloading and soil separation will be done manually. The position involves repetitive motions over the entire shift, including sitting, standing, walking and repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting. Attention to detail, machine operation accuracy, and efficiency of work is necessary for processing goods and role accountability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial washing machines and related laundry equipment
  • Load and unload merchandise (textiles, linens, floor mats, etc) by weight and type
  • Follow wash formulas and chemical dosing procedures
  • Ensure proper sorting and washing to maintain quality standards
  • Monitor machine cycles and troubleshoot basic issues


Qualifications

  • The ability to operate commercial laundry equipment such as a washer, dryer, air compressor, etc. (Previous experience is a plus!)
  • An independent self-starter
  • Organized with strong communication skills
  • Good physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and quality control procedures.

Salary

$19 - $25 per hour
