Fleming Support Services is currently seeking a dedicated, flexible, and forward-thinking Supported Employment Coach to join our growing team on a Part-Time / PRN basis. This position supports adults with developmental disabilities in securing, maintaining, and thriving in meaningful, competitive employment or small business ventures. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for community inclusion, workforce development, and individualized career support, with the ability to meet clients where they are—both physically and developmentally. Services are performed in real-world job environments and business settings alongside employees without disabilities.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals in job exploration, resume building, applications, and mock interviews
- Provide on-site coaching and job task training to ensure successful integration into the workforce
- Support skill-building for job retention, advancement, and workplace communication
- Help recipients identify career goals, align opportunities with abilities, and participate in all aspects of job development
- Facilitate transportation coordination and scheduling when needed
- Assist with small business planning or self-employment if chosen by the recipient
- Collaborate with families, employers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow through on Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
- Complete progress notes and maintain compliance with APD and Medicaid documentation standards
Qualifications (Must meet one of the following):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Rehabilitative Science, Business, or related field
- Associate’s degree or 2 years of college and 2 years of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- One year of college and 3 years of documented experience with the target population
- A minimum of 4 years of direct, documented professional experience with individuals with developmental disabilities (can substitute for college on a year-for-year basis)
🔹 All candidates must possess a valid high school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualities:
- Familiarity with supported employment models and career coaching practices
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and coaching skills
- Motivated, patient, and dependable
- Ability to travel locally to job sites across Northeast or Central Florida
- Prior experience with Medicaid Waiver/APD documentation preferred

Salary
$17 - $19 per hour
