Fischbeck's Pharmacy, Inc. is looking for team members for our new independent pharmacy! Experience is preferred but unnecessary if you are willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Pass a background check

·        Pass a drug test

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        Must register with the state as a technician upon hire

·        Must obtain PTCB certification within one year of employment

·        Must be able and willing to work directly with the public

·        Willingness to complete continuing education on the job

·        Typing proficiency

Preferences

·        Pharmacy experience

·        Customer service experience

·        Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel (or willing to learn)

·        Eagerness to learn new skills

Job Responsibilities

·        Answer phones and help callers directly (or send them to the appropriate person)

·        Accept prescriptions from patients, input their information, and give accurate completion estimates

·        Type up prescriptions correctly and efficiently

·        Count and fill prescriptions

·        File prescriptions

·        Contact providers, insurance companies, and patients as needed

·        Complete cashier duties

·        Cleaning pharmacy periodically

·        Assist with inventory (ordering, putting away, counting, will-call, etc.)

·        Assist pharmacist(s) and other technicians with various tasks when needed

Compensation/Benefits

·        $12-15/hr starting pay (experience dependent)
