Responsibilities:
- Provide professional massage therapy services to clients
- Perform lymphatic drainage massages to help clients reduce swelling, alleviate lymphedema, and enhance the body's natural detoxification processes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their specific needs, health conditions, and preferences to develop tailored treatment plans. Recommend products and services to support client satisfaction
- Utilize various massage techniques, including lymphatic drainage, Swedish, deep tissue, and others, to address clients' physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of client consultations, treatment plans, and progress to provide personalized care and follow-up
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing post-massage recommendations for self-care and wellness.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals, such as chiropractors, physical therapists, and healthcare practitioners, to provide holistic care for clients.
Requirements:
- Active Florida state licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Specialized certification in Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
- A strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to tailor massage techniques to specific muscle groups and address various health conditions.
- Proficiency in various massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to convey information clearly, listen actively to clients' concerns, and build trust.
