Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement features across our full technology stack
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React, Next.js, Python, and TypeScript
• Build and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL and Prisma
• Collaborate with the team on system architecture and technical decisions
• Implement responsive, performant front-end interfaces
• Develop and maintain API integrations
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Work closely with product team to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Expert-level experience with Next.js and its advanced features
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and Python
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Track record of building production-grade web applications
• Strong understanding of web security best practices
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern web protocols

Desired Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Familiarity with AWS services
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration in web applications
• Experience with government or enterprise software development
• Open source contributions
