Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute our initial business development strategy for the public sector market
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and AWS partners
  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closing
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations that articulate our value proposition
  • Work closely with our small but growing team to ensure alignment between market needs and product development
  • Navigate and optimize AWS partnership requirements and opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and government procurement opportunities
  • Develop revenue forecasts and contribute to strategic planning

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of business development or sales experience, with at least 4 years selling to government agencies
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise-level deals in the public sector
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements
  • Deep familiarity with AWS ecosystem, including partnership tiers, requirements, and terminology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree with MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in early-stage startup environments a plus

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes base compensation paid monthly, a quarterly bonus plan, and equity incentives under the company's incentive stock option plan.

$150,000 - $200,000 per year
