HVAC & FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Full-Time | Multi-Location Position

KEEP OUR RESTAURANTS RUNNING

Finney Hospitality Group is looking for a skilled HVAC & Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our growing group of restaurant locations.

This is a mobile, multi-location maintenance position. You will not be assigned to one restaurant. Instead, you'll regularly travel between FHG locations to troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and help keep our restaurants operating safely and efficiently.

We're looking for someone with HVAC experience and certification who is also comfortable handling a variety of general facility repairs. One day you may be troubleshooting an HVAC system, and the next you could be repairing plumbing, replacing hardware, diagnosing equipment, or completing preventative maintenance at another restaurant.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Travel regularly between FHG restaurant locations based on maintenance and operational needs
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
• Perform preventative HVAC maintenance, including filters, belts, coils, thermostats, and other system components
• Troubleshoot and complete general building and restaurant maintenance repairs
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, fixtures, doors, hardware, and other facility needs
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine whether repairs can be completed internally or require an outside vendor
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work based on urgency, safety, and impact on restaurant operations
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and identify concerns before they become larger problems
• Communicate repair status, timelines, and outstanding needs with restaurant leadership and the FHG Maintenance team
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, repairs, parts, and outstanding maintenance needs
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies needed to complete assigned work
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable codes and regulations
• Support emergency or after-hours maintenance needs when necessary

MULTI-LOCATION TRAVEL

Travel between restaurant locations is an essential function of this position.

The Maintenance Technician will be dispatched to different FHG restaurants based on preventative maintenance schedules, repair requests, projects, emergencies, and other operational needs. The location and type of work may change from day to day.

Candidates must be comfortable spending a significant portion of their workweek traveling between restaurant locations and working independently at multiple sites.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in HVAC, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, commercial maintenance, or a related field
• HVAC certification required
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building maintenance
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to identify root causes and develop effective, lasting solutions
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple maintenance requests
• Willing and able to travel regularly between FHG restaurant locations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with commercial maintenance work
• Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or other multi-site commercial maintenance experience is a plus
