FINANCIAL PLANNING MINISTRY
Serving Families Through Biblical Stewardship Since 1982
Member Services & Client Relations Associate
Spanish/English | Path to Member Relations Specialist
Full-Time • On-site • Compensation: 25.00–$28.00, commensurate with experience
For more than forty years, Financial Planning Ministry (FPM) has walked alongside families as they make one of the most personal decisions of their lives: how to steward what God has entrusted to them, and how to care for the people they love after they're gone. We've helped over 57,000 families through partnerships with more than 150 churches and nonprofit ministries nationwide — not by giving legal or financial advice, but by making sound estate planning accessible, understandable, and rooted in biblical stewardship.
The person in this role is often the first human voice a member hears when they call FPM — sometimes at a moment of grief, sometimes at the start of a new season of life. How you listen, explain, and follow through shapes how that family experiences this ministry. This is not a call-center job. It's a ministry-facing role that combines genuine care with real technical precision.
We're looking for a polished, highly organized Member Services & Client Relations Associate who is fluent in both English and Spanish to serve as a key point of contact for our members and ministry partners. You'll handle sensitive personal and estate-planning matters with discretion, explain complex information in plain and compassionate language, and often serve as the voice of FPM itself.
This role is also a starting point. Associates who show strong judgment, attention to detail, and a desire to grow have gone on to take ownership of document specialist work, partner relations, supervisory and management roles, and support for legacy services (trust administration). We invest in people who want to understand this field more deeply over time, not just execute a script — training in our systems, procedures, and estate-planning fundamentals is built in from day one.
• Serve as a professional and welcoming point of contact for members, partners, and affiliates — primarily by phone and email
• Communicate with members in both English and Spanish, as appropriate
• Listen carefully to members' questions and provide accurate information, or route requests appropriately for follow-up
• Provide clear, timely status updates on member requests and documents
• Handle sensitive and personal information with discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment
• Respond to email inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and appropriate tone
• Format, review, print, and ship estate-planning documents with exceptional attention to detail
• Review member information and documents for accuracy, including names, addresses, and other key details
• Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures
• Support departmental administrative needs and special projects assigned
• As you grow in the role, take on increasing responsibility in areas like document specialization, trust administration support, supervisory roles, or administration.
• Are fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish
• Have at least 2 years of professional administrative, client service, or customer service experience
• Communicate confidently and professionally by phone, email, and in person
• Know how to create a positive client experience without becoming overly casual or informal
• Have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, polished work
• Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Exercise good judgment and know when a question should be escalated
• Are proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
• Are drawn to work that combines ministry, service, and technical precision — and want to understand estate planning and trust administration more deeply over time
• See this as a place to build a career, not just fill a position — you're looking for a mission you can grow with, not just a job
A college degree and demonstrated professional experience are required.
Because this role represents FPM directly to members and ministry partners, how you communicate matters as much as what you communicate. We're looking for someone who is:
• Warm and personable, but consistently professional
• Confident without being overly casual
• Empathetic and patient
• Calm under pressure and discreet with sensitive information
• Detail-oriented, conscientious, and comfortable taking ownership
• Respectful of the personal nature of estate planning and the families we serve
• Motivated by more than the day-to-day task list — someone who wants to understand why the work matters and grows into carrying more of it
If you take pride in making people feel respected, heard, and well cared for — and you're looking for work that lets you grow alongside a mission worth investing in — we would like to hear from you.
