Job description:

The Carbon Fiber Technician – Finishing is responsible for the final finishing processes of carbon fiber firearm components to meet strict quality, cosmetic, and performance standards. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, and pride in craftsmanship. The technician will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure all carbon fiber parts meet company, industry, and safety specifications.

  • Perform finishing operations on carbon fiber firearm components, including sanding, trimming, polishing, sealing, and surface preparation
  • Inspect carbon fiber parts for cosmetic and structural imperfections and make necessary corrections
  • Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and finishing equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and firearms manufacturing regulations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in finishing processes and techniques
  • Knowledge of composite finishing techniques and materials
