Description

What You'll Do:

Field Leadership + Safety

  • Lead all aspects of assigned projects and/or scopes of work, ensuring safe, high-quality execution.
  • Lead and model FH’s zero-injuries safety culture.
  • Lead daily production activities and ensure all trade partners are set up for success.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement safety and quality controls.
  • Review construction documents to ensure constructability and quality standards.
  • Manage inspections and ensure work is installed correctly.
  • Support problem-solving through critical and creative thinking.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, coordination, and overall project efficiency.

Planning, Scheduling, + Logistics

  • Assist in developing construction schedules, proactively communicate schedule impacts, and complete weekly schedule updates.
  • Create, implement, and manage project logistics plans.
  • Plan, coordinate, and identify self-perform activities.

Team, Trade Partner, + Client Coordination

  • Build strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and trade partners.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to align on costs, scheduling, and project status
  • Partner with preconstruction and project team members to confirm readiness before work begins
  • Professionally represent FH with clients, trade partners, design teams, and join venture partners.
  • In partnership with the Project Manager, assist with cost tracking, as needed.
  • Assist with procurement and ensure job requirements are met.

Leadership + Development

  • Mentor and support project team members
  • Demonstrate ownership by taking initiative and solving problems proactively
  • Foster and enjoyable, collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Actively participate in business development efforts through attending industry events, building relationships with industry professionals, and executing on work to represent FH in the market.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
  • Prior experience as a Senior Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry
  • Prior experience leading field activities on commercial construction projects

  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional organization with an ability to demonstrate a strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of your work and career
  • Self-aware, open to feedback, and motivated to continue to grow
  • Ability to read or speak additional languages (preferred, but not required)
  • OSHA 30
