We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Specialist – Solar Appointment Setter will play a key role in confirming leads and driving business growth by reaching out to potential solar customers, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for our sales team. This position involves proactive phone outreach, lead nurturing, and building strong customer relationships to drive interest in solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Appointment Setting: Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce solar energy solutions and schedule appointments for sales consultants to provide detailed consultations.
  • Lead Qualification: Use a consultative approach to qualify leads based on interest, budget, location, and eligibility for solar programs.
  • Customer Education: Explain the benefits of solar energy, the process of installation, and financial incentives such as tax credits and rebates to educate and engage potential customers.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain accurate lead and customer information in SalesForce system to ensure smooth communication and follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to the sales process, providing them with relevant customer information.
  • Follow-up & Nurturing: Continuously follow up with leads that are not yet ready to schedule, nurturing them through email and phone outreach until they are ready to take the next step.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets, including call volume, appointment-setting quotas, and conversion rates.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Provide a high level of customer service and support, ensuring a positive experience for every potential client.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an inside sales, appointment setting, or telemarketing role, preferably in the renewable energy or home improvement industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage, educate, and influence potential customers.
  • Goal-Oriented: Motivated by sales targets and driven to achieve personal and team goals.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic sales tools.
  • Resilience & Persistence: Ability to handle objections, stay motivated, and adapt to different customer personas.
  • Customer-Focused: Empathy and a consultative approach to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Solar Knowledge: A basic understanding of solar energy systems and the benefits of solar power is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications:

Salary

$22 - $25 per hour
