  • Client Communication: Greet pet parents warmly during check-in/check-out, providing enthusiastic updates on their dog’s behavior and spa experience.
  • Physical Stamina & Handling: Stand for long periods, playing and interacting with dogs of all sizes, maintain control of (sometimes hyperactive, jumpy, strong and quick) dogs while on leashed walks, safely handle wet/slippery dogs, bend, squat, and confidently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Digital Documentation & Tracking: Comfortably use our software and tablets to maintain accurate client profiles, input detailed grooming instructions, log caretaking notes, and create fun, professional digital report cards for pet parents.
  • Environmental Composure: Maintain a calm, focused demeanor and exercise patience in a high-energy, sensory-rich environment. This includes managing busy shifts, loud noises (barking, high-velocity dryers), and safely managing difficult or anxious dogs.
