Fan Fuel Mart (FFM) is a unique, upscale mini mart located in the heart of the **UMich athletic area**, directly across from the new Central Campus and conveniently located below Hoover & Greene Apartments. We offer a curated selection of snacks, beverages, coffee, grab-and-go foods, athletic fuel, and everyday essentials — making it easy for students, athletes, faculty, residents, and the local community to grab what they need before class, between classes, at lunch, or before and after a game or workout. Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a friendly, professional attitude
• Accurately operate the cash register and process credit, and mobile payments
• Verify identification for age-restricted purchases
• Restock coolers, shelves, and merchandise throughout the shift
• Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and consistently shows up for scheduled shifts
• Honest, trustworthy, and dependable
• Friendly with excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and accurate when handling cash
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States

Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling available
