Job Title: Qualified Professional

Location: Charlotte, NC

Reports To: Program Manager

Classification: Exempt/Full-Time


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


ASSESS AND DIAGNOSIS: Conduct initial comprehensive assessment, review medical andpsychological history, and diagnosis mental condition.


DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT TREATMENT PLANS: Establish treatment plans that addressesindividual needs; including therapy, medication management, and intervention. 


EVALUATE PROGRAMS: Regularly monitor residents across diverse environments to assessprogram outcomes, verify training effectiveness, and modify plans as necessary to align withindividual needs, and organizational objectives. 


ENGAGE WITH INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS: Collaborate with external mental healthprofessionals, case managers, social workers, educational institutions, and families to facilitate acomprehensive and coordinated approach.


PROVIDE CRISIS INTERVENTION: Exercise guidance and support to Behavioral Technicians inmanaging complex behavioral issues, including but not limited to crisis management, andintervention. 


LEAD WITH IMPACT: Demonstrate strong leadership by effectively guiding and collaboratingwith professionals, paraprofessionals, staff, and residents to provide both direct and indirectservices that are specifically designed to address residents individual needs, and organizationalgoals. 


MAINTAIN ACCURATE AND DETAILED RECORDS: Keep accurate and detailed records of residents’ assessments, treatment plans and progress.

QUALIFICATIONS


•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mental health field or related discipline.


•Possesses the necessary license, certificate, or permit required for the regulation of the human services profession.


•Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience in a related residential or child protective system.
